Company History
Since 1961, Acme Castings, Inc. has been supplying quality castings of all configurations directly to the manufacturer. We are a Southern California based, family business founded by Mort Lewis.  Our niche has been in the fast and efficient production of quality impellers and over the years, our company has become an acknowledged leader in the foundry industry.
In October 1969, Mort Lewis acquired Pomona Foundry. Located 32 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Pomona enabled Acme to expand its customer base and specialize in the equipment manufacturing and cement industries. Pomona Foundry also specializes in the reproduction of existing parts.
With an increased desire to diversify, Acme Castings, Inc. established All-Star Enterprises in 1983. Located adjacent to Acme, All-Star specializes in investment, permanent mold and petro-bond sand processes.
 In recent years, the helm of Acme has passed on to Mr. Lewis' son, Lee. Involved with the business early, he is fond of saying that he was "born and raised at Acme." While employing the invaluable tools and techniques his father taught him, Lee adds a fresh modern approach to the company's ongoing development.
 To broaden the range of Acme's capabilities exponentially, Lee directed the successful research and development of castings produced from patterns developed through stereolithography (rapid prototypes).
Acme Castings will continue to earn its excellent reputation for the efficient production of quality castings and Acme will continue to reinvent its capabilities. Our desire to capture cutting-edge technologies will enable us to set new industry standards on fast delivery and passed-on savings to our customers. We truly are the one-stop-shop for all your casting needs. We mean it when we say, "any metal…any process…fast!"
