Mission Statement

Through teamwork and the pursuit of excellence, we continually strive to be our customers' "supplier of choice" in all of our chosen markets. As a leading supplier of specialized manufactured castings, we are committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers for the best quality, value and lead times.

Company History

Since 1961, Acme Castings has been supplying quality castings of all configurations directly to the manufacturer. We are a Southern California based, family business founded by Mort Lewis. Our niche has been in the fast and efficient production of quality impellers and, over the years, our company has become an acknowledged leader in the foundry industry.

In October 1969, Mort Lewis acquired Pomona Foundry. Located 32 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Pomona enabled Acme to expand its customer base and specialize in the equipment manufacturing and cement industries. Pomona Foundry also specializes in the reproduction of aftermarket parts.

With an increased desire to diversify, Acme Castings established All-Star Enterprises in 1983 and acquired United Pattern and Foundry. Located adjacent to Acme, All-Star specializes in investment, permanent mold and petro-bond sand processes.

In 1980, Mort Lewis' son, Lee Lewis, became President of Acme Castings, All-Star Enterprises and Pomona Foundry. In 1985, the helm of Acme passed on to Lee Lewis as he became CEO. Involved with the business early, Lee is fond of saying that he was "born and raised at Acme." While employing the invaluable tools and techniques his father taught him, Lee adds a fresh and modern approach to the company's ongoing development.

Acme Castings continues to grow, expand and improve our capital equipment and structures. In 2009, Acme Castings opened a brand-new, architecturally-designed 8,000 square foot office and warehouse facility. This move more than tripled the company's office space and allows for additional staff to serve our growing customer base.

The Acme Castings heritage stems from and continues to be driven by a relentless commitment to quality and customer service, as well as strategic investments in equipment and processes. These principles and practices have allowed Acme Castings to provide the best possible value to our customers.
